Supporting the Tythy Tigers’ Journey

At Grenville Engineering, we believe in supporting our employees. What better way than through the power of sport? (And football is a true passion for our MD, Mark Barratt.) For the second year in a row, we’re proud to sponsor Tytherington Juniors U13’s AFC—affectionately known as the Tythy Tigers. Last year, we provided their home blue/white kit, and this year, we’re backing the boys with a striking pink-away kit worn proudly by the team as they chase success on the pitch.

Our connection to the team is significant, as Emma Onslow, our management accountant, has a son on the squad. This reflects our commitment to helping our team members and their families.

A Strong Season So Far

Last season, the Tythy Tigers secured an admirable 4th place finish in their league, and this season is shaping to be even better. One of the highlights was a remarkable 21-0 victory three weeks ago, a testament to the hard work and skill the boys have put into their training.

Exciting Challenges Ahead

Next week, the Tigers will embark on their first international trip, travelling to Belgium during the half-term break. This long weekend promises to be a fantastic experience as they face local teams and strengthen their bond as a squad.
