Our spotlight this month focuses on the rise in UK manufacturers reshoring production back to the UK
Increasing steel prices, an indirect result of the Brexit effect and Covid19 have been attributing factors to manufacturers bringing their Production back to the UK.
Make UK published a special report summarising the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic – coupled with concerns over the impact of Brexit as the catalyst for reshoring.
It is now being seen as increasingly important in terms of bolstering UK manufacturing resilience and ensuring that its manufacturing supply chains are fit for an uncertain future.
